Rockpile is positioned in the northwest direction of Dry Creek Valley, offering stunning views above Lake Sonoma. This renowned American Viticultural Area (AVA) is particularly known for its distinctive "signature clone" of Zinfandel, originating from the vineyard of St. Peter's Catholic Church in nearby Cloverdale. Situated at elevations ranging from 800 to 2,100 feet, the vineyards in Rockpile bask in ample sunlight, benefiting from reduced fog thanks to an inversion layer caused by the presence of Lake Sonoma.
