This month we celebrate one of our own, Brianne Sylvia Suacci, whose passion for her family and business helped initiate the formation of Bailarín Cellars.
What Makes You Dance?
"Chasing my dreams alongside loving family and friends make me dance.
As a child growing up on the farm, I spent my days tending to many animals, riding horses, planting in the garden and playing in the creek. From a very early age I learned to balance responsibility with independence, all while surrounded by fresh air, beautiful hills, wild flowers and wide-open spaces.
Twelve years ago, when I became a mother for the first time, I appreciated my upbringing and my parents more than ever. Professionally, I followed my own heart taking on significant company duties while balancing personal priorities in a work-from-home capacity. Once again, responsibility and independence had returned to my life and I flourished. When the opportunity arose to create Bailarín with close friends and with Suacci Vineyard at its core, my heart said yes yes yes.
Today, my four children and I frequently visit my parent’s property in which I was born and raised. Although the animals are gone and the horses no longer graze the fields, the ambiance remains. The beautiful hills, wild flowers and wide-open spaces have taken on new beauty and significance with the family vineyard that my father tends to with such devotion. It warms my heart watching my children play on the farm that now produces fruit for our small new winery.
Hopefully, my journey teaches my children to work hard to make their dreams come true, just as my parents taught me. As the saying goes, take more chances, dance more dances."
